The South Carolina Classical Association is a non-profit organization committed to serving teachers of Classics and promoting Classical Studies in South Carolina. Teachers of Ancient History, Archaeology, Art, and Classics, as well as any person interested in Classical Studies, are encouraged to join SCCA.
At present, we hold one meeting per year in the Spring. The meeting is held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the South Carolina Foreign Language Teachers Association (SCFLTA).
The SCCA newsletter, South Carolina Classics, appears on the SCCA website.
Annual membership in SCCA is $10.00. Please send dues (payable to "South Carolina Classical Association") to Kathleen Ross, Secretary-Treasurer, at University of South Carolina, Dept. of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Columbia, SC 29208. Please fill out the form (cave! a MS Word document that will download to your computer) and include it with your dues.
