The students enjoyed Classics Day at the University of South Carolina on Tuesday, October 17, 2006. They attended several classes with the professors of the university, including erotic poetry with Dr. Miller, Christianity and the Roman imperial cult with Dr. Jones, Vergil with Dr. Briggs, and a very interesting performance on the Roman military with Fabius. |

Elections are held in the fall at the Saturnalia festival; successful candidates take office in January.
| Dues are $8.oo and include membership in the RNHS Latin Club, the SCJCL and the NJCL. | |
| SCJCL sponsors a Workshop in the Fall and the Spring Forum. Students may participate in either event. Activities include academic, artistic, and athletic competitions. | |
| Latin students can run for national offices and participate in the Annual Meeting, which is usually held in late July. | |
| Requirements: an A in current Latin course, participation in leadership activities, and membership in the NJCL. |
