Our annual report for parents contains an overview of our school's vision and Mission, overall school goals, and a snapshot of our academics, school programs, and organizations offered. This also contains many of our highlights throughout the school year and awards and recognitions earned by our students, faculty, and staff.
Our School Renewal Plan is a comprehensive blueprint for improving student achievement. It includes a detailed analysis of the school's strengths and weaknesses, sets clear goals and objectives, outlines specific strategies and action steps, and prioritizes professional development for staff. This plan also emphasizes the importance of parent and community involvement, establishes a system for monitoring progress, and allocates necessary resources to support its implementation.
Each year, School and District Report Cards are posted on the South Carolina Department of Education’s (SCDE's) website. Not to be confused with student report cards, these Report Cards provide information about each school and district, including test performance, teacher qualifications, student safety, awards, parent involvement and much more.
Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), State Education Agencies are required to prepare and disseminate an annual state report and Local Education Agency (LEA) report card that meet the minimum requirements described in federal law.
The purpose of the Continuous Improvement Plan is to narrow the focus of district and school renewal plans, targeting specific areas of improvement. According to Education Accountabilitiy Act - Article 16, a Turnaround plan is a plan outlining goals for a school or district's educational improvement that includes specific strategies designed to increase student achievement and measures to evaluate the success of the implementation of the plan so that the school or district is no longer underperforming or chronically underperforming.
