Title I at Richland Northeast
What is Title I?
Title I is a federal program designed to provide additional funds to schools serving high-need students. These funds are allocated based on the number of low-income students enrolled in a school. The goal of Title I is to help ensure that all students have the opportunity to achieve academic success.
How are Title I Funds used?
Title I funds are being used to implement a variety of programs and services that support student learning. Some examples include:
-
Enhanced Academic Support - Providing additional tutoring, small group instruction, and after-school programs to help students develop essential skills.
-
Early Intervention and Prevention - Identifying and addressing potential learning challenges early on to prevent academic difficulties from escalating.
-
Parent and Community Engagement - Fostering strong partnerships with parents and the community to create a supportive network for students.
